The Inland Empire Department of Peace & Nonviolence Alliance

The IEDOPNA represents California's Inland Empire Area (Riverside/San Bernardino Counties) connecting with others to create a peaceful world.

We meet on the 3rd Saturday of each month at the Lewis Library & Technology Center in Fontana. Please RSVP on the event page on this network.

Comment by Bobbi Jo Chavarria on July 14, 2009 at 3:55am: The mission of Kids for Peace (http://www.kidsforpeaceusa.org/) is to cultivate every child's innate ability to foster peace through cross-cultural experiences and hands-on arts, service, and environmental projects.

There are now over 50 registered Kids for Peace chapters around the world.

Kids for Peace is inviting children around the world to join them and help spread the word of their Great Kindness Challenge on August 8th. www.GreatKindnessChallenge.org. The Great Kindness Challenge is one day devoted to performing as many acts of kindness as possible. The goal this year is to have over one million children participate, with the hope that this day will inspire a lifelong commitment to service and kindness.
